Queen Bee's at Courtney Dental1/5/2019  Life at Courtney Dental works some that like a beehive, and we would know with 2 resident beekeepers - Dave and Ruth. Ruth is more of an expert than Dave having kept bees for a few years now with Dave only just started his hive last year. Keeping bees is not all about the sweet rewards of honey (Which we acknowledge is not so healthy for our teeth), or the nasty stings.  The structure of the hive is nothing short of awesome, just like the team at Courtney Dental! With only one Queen (Krista is clearly our Queen Bee) a few drones and lots of worker bees they each have different jobs but work together and look out for each other for the sweet reward. Our sweet reward is our wonderful patients. QUEEN BEE FACTS There may only be one Queen bee but she is not the ultimate ruler (Sorry Krista) but she is at the heart of the hive with the ability to keep the bees on task and content. Approximately one third of the food we eat is the result of honey bee pollination, honey bees are also the only insect that produces food consumed by humans.   Comments are closed.
