Occasionally our staff here at Courtney Dental have to make the time to attend conferences and courses related to dental education. This is called continuing professional development (CPD) and it is how dental practitioners maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge, expertise and competence, and develop the personal and professional qualities required throughout their professional lives. This applies to all dentists, dental specialists, dental hygienists, dental therapists, oral health therapists and dental prosthetists. Dental practitioners are required to complete a minimum of 60 hours of CPD activities over a three-year CPD cycle. All our staff at Courtney Dental, including our assistants and reception staff strive to maintain a higher level of education so we can provide our patients with the bet care and treatment possible.
