Glenda Wanless |
Glenda is our infection control co-ordinator and has been with Courtney Dental since December
2001. Born and bred in Townsville Glenda spent many years in both Brisbane and Melbourne where she was heavily involved in Trotting. Glenda has been a good and close friend to both Bernie and Craig for over 30 years. When coming back home she continued her passion for horses and trained both trotters at the Willows and Showgrounds and also trained many winners at Cluden Park. |
| Jason Stopps | |
Jason is also involved in sterilising and works here part time. He joined our practice in March 2007 and we are yet to see him anywhere but the tea room. He pays particular attention to the meticulous operation and cleaning of the coffee machine. Jason is heavily involved in the racing industry where he is a full time jockey at Cluden Park where he has ridden the winner of some of Townsvilles biggest races including the prestigious Cleveland Bay Handicap (twice) and the Parry Nissan Great Northern 2yo race, and also numerous big races and cups in Cairns. Mackay and other areas. He is yet to win the Townsville Cup but has ridden several placegetters in it. We like to think that being a jockey is curtailing a very promising Dental nursing career. One has to add that being around 10 or so women Jason is certainly in his element. |
